I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Hank's Info...

I am already neutered, purebred, a special needs pet, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Hank's Story...
Hi name is Hank, I am a young healthy and dare I say handsome guy. I and my brother were found a Montgomery County awaiting euthanasia before the rescue came and saved us. But enough about my past, I am loving my new life! I love people and also like other big dogs and get very attached to people who are good to me. I do well on a leash and am learning my commands but need a strong owner to teach me all I need to know to be a good GSD. I have learned house breaking and am eager to learn more. I think that cats and small dogs are a type of food so no homes with either of them.

Anyone adopting me needs to known that I have lots of energy and need someone willing to take me on plenty of walks or runs. Since I am still very young I need a owner to give me plenty of attention and can get in trouble if left to my own devices but despite that who would not want a good looking guy like myself? I look to please and would be a really awesome dog for anyone wiling to give me a chance, will you be my savior? If so please let my foster folks know as I would love to meet you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hank, a Houston German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Houston, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
