My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don’t you need a Valentine Beau – one that is a big love bug, likes to give kisses and get belly rubs??? Well then, I’m your guy! I am a 2 yr old Swiss Mountain mix that weighs approximately 60-70 pounds. I am up to date on vaccines, dewormed, heartworm Neg, and neutered. I am very sweet, am housebroken, get along with other dogs, and like cats but will chase to play when they walk away from me. My family had to move and could not take me with them so they took me to Floyd County Pound. Luckily, Miss Debbie, of Floyd County Humane Society, took me in until I can find my forever home – she even lets me sit in the big chair and watch my favorite sport – football! I know some basic commands and am crate trained. I am a very big and strong boy that would never intentionally hurt small children but I could knock them down so I would probably do better with older children. I am getting better with walking on a leash but I sometimes get in a hurry and pull the person on the other end so I am looking for someone who will work with me on leash walking. I really want a big fenced in yard to run around in and would love to have a jogger or hiking buddy.
