Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Liberty is a wonderfully sweet, 6 to 8 year old, medium sized Aussie mix. She was freed from spending almost 2 months in a shelter after being picked up as a stray. She was obviously a loved pet in someones home at one time. She has excellent manners, is sharp as a tack and has just the right amount of playfulness. Say her name and shell do a dance for belly rubs. She is house and kennel trained. She fit in with the resident Aussie boys in her foster home with ease. She will also make a wonderful solo companion to the right home.
Liberty has been diagnosed with Heartworms. She will complete her six week treatment and then she will be as good as new. When treated, dogs suffering from heartworms can recover to live long healthy productive lives. If you would like to help cover Liberty's heartworm (around middle March) treatment click here: DONATE.
Liberty is fostered in Bradenton, FL
Our adoption fee is $250.00 (over 10 yrs $125.00%29, this helps cover some of the dogs expenses. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date with vaccinations, heartworm tested and on preventative. You must be willing to travel to the dog to meet/adopt .
