Baron's Story...
This is Baron he is a male australian shepherd/collie mix. he is just 3 1/2 months old. He comes to his foster home with 5 siblings . Some look more like collie and some more like aussie. They will be medium size dogs their paws arent real big right now. Very good natured dogs and play well with other dogs. A little shy at first but really warmed up after a couple days. Working on crate training and will be spayed and neutered mid February. Right now will be doing applications on all puppies. If you would like to adopt one now you can take them home but have to bring back for spay/neuter and rabies shot.. a deposit is done for that reason.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Baron, a Overland Park Australian Shepherd/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd/Collie for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Australian Shepherd/Collie dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd/Collie breeders who help with Australian Shepherd/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
