Peanut's Story...
Peanut here!

And I am an independent but lovable Black and White 10 month-old cat who likes attention for the most part but is also happy being by myself and takig it easy. I'm not too concerned with getting attention all the time, and would rather play than be held.. I would be a great cat for a family with other pets or children, or a low-maintenance pet for a family on the go.

I was abandoned on one of PAAW's volunteer's porch over the 4th of July holiday weekend while they were out for the holiday with a bunch of other kitties in the heat of the day with no food or water in a carrier..Can you believe it? With a note that said "Sorry but we were foreclosed". :0 Lucky for me they came home when they did and found me!

My adoption fee of $125 includes my feluk/combo test; current vaccines; spay/neuter & microchip!

If you would like to meet me, please complete our online adoption evaluation form and ask for me by name! You'll be glad you did!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peanut, a Warren Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warren, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
