Joe Cocker's Story...
Joe Cocker is a darling, aproximately age 2 to 3 year old Golden/Spaniel mix currently in foster care with 5 other dogs and a cat! He gets along with everyone and just loves hanging around with his human beings! He even sleeps in the bed! Joe is housebroken and does not need to be crated. HOWEVER, Joe has "separation anxiety". Joe MUST be placed in a home with another dog(s). We did not realize Joe even had separation anxiety until he was placed as an only dog. If he is placed with other dogs, he is perfect. He would make a great pet for any family who wants a great doggie addition to a home with other dog(s). For more information, please contact Cathy at : CKe9834888@aol.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joe Cocker, a Columbus Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
