Duke's Story...
Meet Duke. He is about 5 years old and weighs about 50 lbs. Duke was found on the side of the road where he was dumped like yesterday's trash. He was thin, hungry and in need of attention. After living in a foster home with a warm bed, good food and veterinary attention, Duke has blossomed. He is now ready to go to his forever home.
Duke is a quiet boy, house trained, very smart and very responsive. Duke is a bit shy at first with new people, but warms up quickly. He gets along great with other dogs

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Milford Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Milford, or seeking a Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Beagle/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
