My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maddie is Adopted

Maddie is currently fostered in Mentor ohio and her adoption donation is $250

Maddie is a 4 yr old buff and white female cocker spaniel.
She came to our rescue from a shelter in the south where she was found as a stray, so we do not have any history on her.

Maddie is the most fun loving little cocker spaniel you will ever meet, she is playful, and affectionate, and greets everyone she meets with a wagging tail.
She goes to the nursing home where her foster works, and she is definitely the biggest hit with all of the residents there, and the staff.
She may not be therapy dog certified, but I am sure she could pass the course with flying colors.
It is so amazing to see her in action with the residents and staff when she spends the day there, she brings so much joy to everyone she meets, and they have nicknamed her Manor Care Maddie.
This little cocker girl has alot of personality and spunk, and she has such a sweet, happy temperment.

Maddie also does very well at her fosters house, and gets along with all of the other dogs, and she LOVES to play with them!!
She is also housebroken, and will go into a crate if needed, and she walks well on a leash.
She is not currently fostered with children, but has met a few of them while visiting at the nursing home, and has not showed any fear or aggression twoards them.

Maddie is just an all around GREAT little dog, and she will make someone very happy when she finds her forever home.
She does have a cataract on her one eye, and we do not know how much vision she has in it, but by the way she gets around, and plays, it does not seem to bother her one bit.
She has never shown any signs at all of having vision difficulties.

Maddie is waiting for her forever family to find her, and she will be sure to turn on the charm when she meets potential adopters.

Maddie is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and is heartworm negative.

If you would like to adopt Maddie or would like more information on her, please fill out an adoption application.

We do not have a shelter, all rescues are in foster homes - Dogs are not shown without first being approved to adopt.
