Cookie's Story...
http://www.valleydogs.org/cookie.html
Cookie is believed to be a chi-weenie (maybe some beagle which would make her a chi-wegle) mix. She is 15 pounds and believed to be 12 to 18 months old. She has been spayed and is current on her shots and has her micro chip. She does well with other dogs, although she is a bit "small dog bossy" at times. She has not bothered the kitties she lives with at all.

She is potty trained and learning to walk on a leash along with the other basic commands. She loves to sleep in bed cuddled up to her human and is a great little companion dog.

Wouldn’t you like to meet me? If so, please complete an adoption interest form and email crystallarnold@msn.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Gilbert Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
