Autumn's Story...
Autumn is such a laid-back and sweet kitten that she even captured the heart of her foster mom’s friends who are confirmed “dog people”! She loves attention from people and will turn on her huge purr to let you know how happy she is. She is also respectful and friendly toward the other cats in her foster home. Autumn loves to play with toys and will make funny chirping sounds as she runs around and plays. She would probably do well in pretty much any home, although she is so friendly and trusting that she should probably be indoor-only. If you’re looking for a super-sweet girl that defies all of the “tortie diva” stereotypes, then Autumn is the girl for you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Autumn, a Davis Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Davis, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Davis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Davis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Davis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Davis paves the way for another one to be saved.
