Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Addie was left by her owners when they moved, and to make things even worse for her, she must have been hit by a car and was running around only on 3 legs, scrounging around for food. She was also heartworm positive when she got her. First thing my vet did was spay her and the FHO to fix her hip and leg. That went great, then we treated her for heartworms this past fall. Addie gets around great, limps some but you'd be surprised at how strong she has gotten in that leg. She should have no after effects, maybe a little arthritis in the leg when she gets older but she is good now. Addie is very sweet, very pretty, and just wants to be loved. She is good with all the other dogs, and is housebroken as well of course...if you would like more information on this wonderful girl, please contact us.
