Happy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and not good with cats.

Happy's Story...
Look at this magnificent girl!!! Someone actually put her in a kill shelter and then another person took her out and decided they didn't want a cat after all... has the world gone insane? Yes I think so! Anyway back to Happy - she's safe with us now and is just so silky and beautiful all you want to do is pet her :o) Persians can get stressed very easy so we do not want to put her in a house with young children. We think a quiet, loving, safe, indoor home would be just wonderful for Happy. She's spayed, up to date with vaccines and really LOVES people!!! She doesn't seem to like other kitties so she should be the only kid. Happy is healthy and fluffy and would love to get out of this cage - it's making her very unhappy =( If you would like some more info, please call Sandy at 917-882-6949. Please fill out our application from and email it to Remember - this kitty, as ALL cats should be, is an indoor only cat. Thank you so much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Happy, a Freeport Persian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Persian for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Persian cat from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Persian breeders who help with Persian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
