I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Zira's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Zira's Story...
Zira is a Valentine in a furry coat ! She is a purebred Shiba Inu with a sweet personality.
This special girl is 9 years old - no puppy phase to deal with here. She is looking for her forever home where she can share some of that sweetness with her people.

Experienced Shiba people are preferred since this breed can be challenging for inexperienced owners. A fenced yard is a must. This breed should never be allowed to run free. And they are SMART - don't let that cute foxy face fool you. Shiba's are naturally aloof but quick to warm up to you. They are curious, confident - a bit cat-like in personality.

Zira came from a multi-dog home but she was the only Shiba. All the other dogs were larger, both male and female. Zira has been tested for several traits and did very well. She does not show much interest in cats or chasing toys.

We recommend a home without very young children for this breed. Zira would love more time with her people family than left alone. She is crate trained, good on leash and has some knowledge of basic commands. We are still learning what Zira really does know.
At a near perfect weight of 17#, this sweet girl is just the right size.

Do you think you are the perfect match for Zira ? Please contact us for an application.
Adoption fee is $150.00. All adopters must come to us. We do not ship/transport dogs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zira, a Washington Shiba Inu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shiba Inu for sale in Washington, or seeking a Shiba Inu dog from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shiba Inu breeders who help with Shiba Inu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
