Scout's Story...
Hi, I'm Scout,

My sister and I were abandoned when we were just two weeks old, and we're now happy, healthy green-eyed 4 month olds! I'm a neutered male with gray and white fur that feels like angora. I purr as loud as a car engine and I love to be snuggled by my foster family. My favorite toy is my sister, so I hope we get adopted together. We are guaranteed to provide twice as much fun and entertainment! We wrestle, roll, chase, pounce and hang out together. My foster mom says I am so great because I like to be brushed, I use the scratching post, I give kisses and I'm definitely trained to use the litter box. I love to be held and played with, but I'm also independent enough to find things to do on my own and with my sister. When you come meet me, you'll see that I'm just an irresistible love bug! (js)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout, a Sacramento Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
