Alexander's Story...
Look at me! My name is Alexander, but my friends call me Goofy (Alexander) Pup! I was born in Pasadena, TX and will be 2 years old on August 18th. I am a little submissive, laid back, and I mind very well. This little girl I live with trained me to sit, lay down, and roll over for treats. I really like her and other kids, and I am gentle with the real little ones. I don't jump on people, I just kind of lean on you for hugs.

I like all dogs, big and little, but I don't really know about cats. Foster Mom says I love everyone and thinks I'd probably do well with cats also. I currently have 4 older RottenSisters {Mom is one of them} & 1 younger RottenSister {she's up for adoption too}. Oh yeah, I also have 2 SkinKids that live with me too. There are SkinKids of all ages over here all of the time, they share their carrots and stuff with me. YUMMY!!! We get along swell! We wrestle & play all day long.

I take these really good pills to keep me from getting something called heartworms, and Foster Mom says I have gotten all of my shots too...oh and that I was neutered. I'm not sure what that is, but I think I know, and it wasn't fun at all. { I got a really swell Tattoo when they were done for being good mom says.}

I really need a family of my own to love and play with and a yard to run around in. Do you want to be mine? I promise to be faithful forever. How can you resist a handsome face like this? I'll tell my foster mom to wait for your e-mail.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alexander, a Austin Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Austin, or seeking a Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Rottweiler/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
