Joe Jackson's Story...
Joe Jackson and his sister Gracie were saved from the kill shelter. She's just a peanut at about 3 months old and he will not grow to be much more than a small to medium size dog. Joe is Mr. Happy and Playful!! He's working on leash training (the video was his first attempt so it's a little wild!) but he will settle in and do very nicely. Joe is doing great with crate training and he's currently being boarded at the vet until we can find him a forever family. He does fine with cats and dogs alike but because he is a puppy he is very playful and active. Please apply for this little cutie today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joe Jackson, a Windham Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Windham, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Windham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windham paves the way for another one to be saved.
