My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hawk is a 75# Male Dutch Shepherd that enjoys spending time with people and other dogs. He has basic obedience commands of Sit, Down, Come, Stay, Heel, and Back. He also has a Bring command which makes playing fetch all the better! Hawk is actively learning house manners in foster care to help the transition into his forever home.

Hawk is very affectionate, loving, and likes giving hugs. He is good with men, women, and children. He travels well and likes to go places. Hawk would do best in an active family lifestyle. He hasn't spent much time indoors, making everything in the house new and worth inspecting! Hawk is very smart, willing to learn, and eager to impress. He can open door knobs and pull drawers open. If left unattended, he can get into trouble by leaving or entering rooms and pulling things from drawers.

Hawk is social with known dogs, but can be a little overbearing with new dogs.Introducing him to other dogs should be supervised. He's dominant, but not aggressive. He does best with females, but also gets along with males as long as they don't challenge him.

Neutered male, 4.5 years old, current on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped and free of intestinal parasites. He is located in Southern CA but we do adopt out nationally.
