Leo's Story...
Leo has been adopted!

Meet Leo! Leo is a handsome 10 lb boy who came to YSDR because his Owner could no longer take care of him. Leo is a sweet, happy boy who rarely barks. He is learning the doggie door, walks well on a leash, and gets along well with people and other dogs.

Leo will be available for adoption after his neuter and dental on Feb 10th. His adoption fee is $200 to help cover his vet expenses. Leo is now up to date on shots, on heart worm preventative, microchipped and is being neutered and having a dental next week.

Please contact Rita McKenzie (rita.mckenzie@yahoo.com) for more information on Leo.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leo, a Conroe Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Conroe, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Conroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
