Trixie's Story...
Meet Trixie

Trixie and her brother, Jackson was kept in a hot house. Both were heartworm positive.
Trixie has been on a very slow heartworm treatment and is now ready to find a furever home.
Trixie is very shy and leery of strangers. Can you blame her? Trixie is about 1 year old and weighs around 10 lbs. She is a smart girl. Foster Mom is teaching her to sit and stay on command. Trixie loves belly rubs and would love to sit in your lap. Trixie will need a home where someone has lots of patience, and an experience owner. She is still leery of strangers and does not take to everyone.

Trixie is up to date on all shots, spayed and microchipped.

Absolutely, No children please!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trixie, a Conroe Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier for sale in Conroe, or seeking a Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Conroe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conroe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conroe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier breeders who help with Yorkie, Yorkshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conroe paves the way for another one to be saved.
