Zena's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Zena's Story...
.Two little ones that have been together most of their lives. She is a bit more independent but the little boy certainly depends on her a lot. They are both approximately 7 to 9 years old, but in very good shape. The little boy has had some dental work done and doesn't have many of his teeth left, thus a cute little tongue on the side of the mouth. He is about 5 pounds and she comes in at a little over 6. They are both in good health and have had regular vet visits. They are very friendly and would do best in an adult home or a home with older children. Due to their age we do not recommend a home with small children. They do pretty good with a doggie door and love for you to come out in the yard with them. They would love to have someone to cuddle with them watching the animal planet on TV. If you could give these two a forever home please get an application at and email (use microsoft word for best results) or fax it into us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zena, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
