Hi, I'm Haley, a young (12-18 months) flowered female rescued from Tennessee with Riley B and Margo. My interesting coloring comes from a recessive flowered gene. I am not a Shar-Pei mix. You can see lots of other Pei like me by doing a quick Internet search.
I am in a foster home in Virginia now with three other dogs, and my silly personality is really starting to shine. I run lickety split around the yard and through the house with my Pei pals. I am a sweet girl who loves to give Pei kisses; and if you sit on the floor, I will lay one right across your face! I am very curious, and I spend a lot of time exploring my new digs inside and out in the yard. When I am outside and the wind blows, I stick my nose up in the air and take in all the smells. I love a nice long walk, but I do pull on the leash if I don't have my walking collar on. I respond well to correction while walking.
I will run right into my crate for a treat or a nylabone. I sleep in my crate when nobody is home and at night. I am also housebroken, spayed and ready for my furever home.
My previous life has left my coat and ears in horrible shape. I am eating good food and taking fish oil, so my skin and coat are improving every day. I have had two rounds of ear meds and will go for a recheck at the vet's office soon. I am a good girl and let my Foster Mom take care of my ears without any tantrums. I actually enjoy having them rubbed and can't wait until they are completely clean.
If you are interested in adopting me, please
