Probably one of my most memorable moments in rescue was standing out in the woods, pitch black 10.30 pm at night with 6-8 inches of snow on the ground and the Sheriffs deputy shining his torch 35ft up the tree illuminating Dodger looking like a rather large Orange Angel at the top of a christmas tree! He is a terrific cat, and has quite a fan club at this point both humans and other cats alike. He deserves an extra special home. Please contact Dodgers foster mum at 803-760-0399 or email email@example.com or rescue email firstname.lastname@example.org He is fully vetted.
Dodgers pictures were taken when he was lost and stray and had moved in on a feral colony. He is such a sweet cat he actually introduced us to a couple of his new friends who up to that point we had not realised were socialised, lost kittys too.
Animal Rescue Carolina (ARC) is a no-kill,501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is four-fold: 1) to promote spay-neuter, 2) to restore stray animals to good medical health, before adopting them into permanent, loving homes, 3) to encourage Trap, Neuter, and Return(TNR) and, 4) to educate pet owners about their responsibilities as guardians for their companion animals.
We are a completely foster-based rescue group. If you would like to make a donation, please click on the Paypal button. All donations are tax deductable and go directly to care of the animals.
