Marla's Story...
Marla is a terrier mix who is between 1-2 years old and weighs around 10 lbs. She came with her sister Darli who looks just like her. Both have had a litter of pups even at their young age and small size. They love to play, snuggle and give kisses. They both love all the kids and dogs although they were a little afraid of the bigger dogs at first, but were fine as soon as they got used to them. Marla's ears stand straight up and Darli's ears are folded over. If you are interested in either of these sisters, go to www.hubbardshounds.com and submit an application. NO PHONE CALLS!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marla, a Homer Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Homer, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Homer.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homer already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homer breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homer paves the way for another one to be saved.
