Frankie's Story...
Frankie is a very handsome, curious, playful and friendly, four-month-old, 22-pound, male, brindle and white, pit bull terrier-mix puppy looking for a loving home. Frankie loves toys, and loves to play fetch. This smart little boy knows how to sit on command and takes treats very gently from your fingers. He loves people and is always full of tail wags and kisses. He is actually quite calm for a puppy, but he is strong-willed, and will need a dedicated dog-lover to continue his training. Frankie is very healthy, neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines, and de-wormed. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact Kathleen at kbudrean@hotmail.com or 312-823-9930. His adoption fee of $95 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care & Control.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Chicago American Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
