Duke's Story...
Think you can handle a lapful of love and personality? Well I sure hope so cuz that’s what you’re gonna get if you take me home. I am Duke and I must say, I am too cute for words! I super sweet and playful, good with gentle children 4+, plus I do great with other dogs too. I have learned to sleep in my crate since I have been here and I love to walk on leash, but I may still have some other things to learn- I guess we’ll see when you get me home right! Give me a place to call my own and I am sure to reward you with plenty of love and entertainment. 2 years old-15lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes: neuter, microchip, reduced cost training class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Portland Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Portland, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
