Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ericka is a charming, playful, active, and fun one-year-old, 40-pound, female, brindle and white Basenji-mix looking for the perfect home. Ericka LOVES other dogs … big, small, old, young … she works her charm on all. She lives with four other dogs and goes to work with her mom at a doggie daycare. She works the room at play, and snuggles with other dogs at home. She is crate-trained, housebroken, not a chewer, and not destructive. She loves to hang out and chew on her toys and bones. She knows the commands sit and down, and takes treats gently. Her foster folks think she would make a phenomenal agility dog. She’s just so agile and motivated. She’d do best in a home with older children and without cats. Poor Ericka sat in a cage at Chicago Animal Care and Control for three months before she caught the eye of the folks at Lake Shore Animal Shelter. She is healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on rabies, distemper and bordatella vaccines, heartworm-tested, on preventative, and micro-chipped. Her adoption fee of $150 benefits the rescued pets of LSAS. To meet and possibly adopt Ericka, please contact her foster folks: Mike at m8lesch@aol.com or Lisa at L8mills@aol.com or 312-543-0579 or 773-278-4339. She is being fostered in Chicago.
