My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 03/03/2011: Molly came into UYR with her ‘sister’ Calie; they must be adopted together. Molly is 6 years old and weighs 3.9#, but she is still thin and should gain maybe 1/2# to be at a healthier weight; Molly is being fostered in New Port Richey, FL.

Here's what Molly had to say about herself today:

went to the vet the other day and got fixed.... I didn’t know I was broken! I also got my shots and some toofers removed, but I still have a few left. My Foster Mom has been feeding me by myself instead of with my sister, Calie, and I have put on weight! I now weigh 3.9 lbs! I like to sleep especially on the back of the couch and in my carrier. FM laughs at my sister and I because she will put the carrier down and we will run in as fast as we can. I am really smart - FM showed me how to use the stairs to get on her bed; I run up the stairs, find my Foster Dad's pillow and I’m right at home. My sister couldn’t figure it out for a long time......hmmmm......I think I'm the smarter sister, huh? I am pee-pee pad trained and like my sister, will use the Potty Patch my FM bought, too. Oh, boy, are we two smart girlies! I love going on walks and I love all the new experiences since I've been in my new foster home. I’ve met big dogs, little dog, kids and lotsa adults. I would love to meet you, too. I am not a handful..... but I can make your heart full!

PLEASE NOTE! Because of their small size, Molly & Calie can ONLY be adopted into an adult home, no children! Their perfect home would have at least one stay-at-home parent since they are used to being with their owner 24/7. Please do not apply unless your home meets the requirements that the girls need.

INITIAL BIO 02/06/2011: MEET MOLLY! Molly came into UYR with her ‘sister’ Calie; they must be adopted together. Molly is 6 years old and weighs 3. She is being fostered in New Port Richey, FL. Molly & Calie were surrendered by their owner who has owned both of them since they were puppies. The girlies were loved very much by her, but due to her health, she could no longer care for them. They are precious little girls who seem a bit timid at first, but they haven’t been socialized much during their short lifetime. Molly will crouch down when the Foster Mom tries to pick her up, but once she is in her arms, she settles in nicely. Molly has several sores above her back legs, but hopefully it is nothing serious. Molly is more docile and not very active at this point, but that may change as they adjust to their foster home and surroundings. Molly is pee-pee pad trained but she will go outside as well when taken. The girls will see the vet this week and start getting caught up on their vaccinations, and a dental will be scheduled at the same time. Molly is unaltered, so her spay will be done at the same time as her dental. Stay tuned for more information as Foster Mom gets to know the girls better.

PLEASE NOTE! Because of their small size, Molly & Calie can ONLY be adopted into an adult home, no children! Their perfect home would have at least one stay-at-home parent since they are used to being with their owner 24/7. Please do not apply unless your home meets the requirements that the girls need.
