Bruno's Story...
Meet Bruno! He is a beautiful, full coat black male, pure bred bloodhound. He’s about 1.5 to 2 yrs old and is still very much a playful puppy. He is extremely gentle, plays very well with the little dogs (when they aren't trying to bite his toes), and hasn't barked at the cat yet. Bruno came from a shelter in AL, and seems eager to please and very curious about everything around him. He loves to talk, and will give you the details of his day. He loves to go for walks, and he walks fairly well on a leash, even though his big ole nose gets him distracted a little. Bruno loves tummy rubs, head scratches and just about anything his companion wants to do with him. He has had some obedience training, but needs a refresher with his new companion when he finds his forever home. If you are the one for Bruno, please contact him at WWW.SOUTHEASTBLOODHOUNDRESCUE.ORG .

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bruno, a Carrollton Bloodhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bloodhound for sale in Carrollton, or seeking a Bloodhound dog from a breeder in Carrollton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carrollton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carrollton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bloodhound breeders who help with Bloodhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carrollton paves the way for another one to be saved.
