Beaumont's Story...
This is Beaumont, more commonly referred to as Jack! He’s an Australian Cattle Dog/Husky mix, and weighs about 45 pounds. Jack is about a year old, but nobody’s very sure; he was found as a stray and as far as we know that’s all anybody has on his past. Whatever his past, Jack is the sweetest boy! He loves other dogs and plays very well, and due to his laid back persona even the more dominant dogs get along with him. Jack is always following us around the house and is a people-pleaser. He likes to always be with us and lives for attention; not only that but he loves to be hugged! Jack is house-trained and crate-trained, though we allow him to sleep uncrated at night. He walks well on a leash and already knows his name. We can even allow him out in an unfenced yard and he won’t wander very far, and he always comes back when we call. Jack already knows how to sit, and he’s a very quick learner. He loves playing with toys with the other dogs or just curling up to be with people, and we’re sure he would love to go home with you!.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beaumont, a Avon Husky/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Avon, or seeking a Husky/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Avon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Avon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Avon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Husky/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Avon paves the way for another one to be saved.
