Preston's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Preston's Story...
Preston was found on the streets lost and alone. A kind lady took him in and contacted the Paw’d Squad for help. Look at that mug…is he cute or what? Preston is about 10 years old and weighs 13 pounds. He is still full of enery (10 is young for a small dog) and loves taking walks, riding in the car and hanging out with people. Preston is great with other dogs. Please note that we are checking him out for a possible heart murmur – will keep you all posted here. UPDATE: 9/13/06, Preston just came back from the cardiologist and they did find a slight heart murmur but he does not even need to take medication for it at this time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Preston, a West Los Angeles Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in West Los Angeles, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in West Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
