Legs Yamara's Story...
Yamara may have a few races under her belt, but she still has plenty of spunk left. She is a happy girl who loves life and is enjoying exploring her new retirement. She's inquisitive and very little has escaped her inquiry with very few things making her uncomfortable for long. Yamara isn't however the most confident of hounds, and will do best in a home with confident, dog experienced people to show her the way. She'll likely enjoy the attentions of well mannered older children, but her helicopter tail which wiggles her whole body would probably be overwhelming for younger children.

Act quickly to adopt Legs Yamara. Pets at this Rescue Group may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Legs Yamara, a Hendersonville Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Hendersonville, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Hendersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hendersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hendersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hendersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
