Tmc's Gracie's Story...
Gracie was an impressive racer and upon meeting her you know why. She's determined, lively and has just enough attitude to get her racing job done. Thus far, Gracie has taken to retirement as if she's been schooling for it her entire life. While sweet natured, loving and attention seeking, Gracie also will have the capacity to take over a home if allowed, and therefore will do best in a home with dog experienced adults. She'll also benefit from some basic manners and obedience work which will help focus her energy and intelligence. Despite a long race career, Gracie is a lively gal who still loves to run, play and go for long walks. Gracie will need a home without younger (<12)children. After initial interest, she seemed to respect smaller breed dogs, but she's not yet met a cat and we suspect that cats will be too much of a challenge for her to live with.

Act quickly to adopt Tmc's Gracie. Pets at this Rescue Group may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tmc's Gracie, a Hendersonville Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Greyhound for sale in Hendersonville, or seeking a Greyhound dog from a breeder in Hendersonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hendersonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hendersonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Greyhound breeders who help with Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hendersonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
