Clayne's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Clayne's Story...
Clayne is a stocky, sturdy little guy who appreciates being able to "run with the big dogs" in the pack. He's almost always happily wagging his tail while tagging along to see what they are doing. However, he's most at home when being able to snuggle up to his human. He likes boy people a lot, but girl people even more.

We expect that Clayne will, when fully grown, weigh in around 45-50 lbs, but he will never be very tall (he's got those short 'Bassett legs') . Even though quite young, he knows a few basic commands - and he loves to please his human.

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, this pup will come to you up-to-date on shots, microchipped and treated for internal and external parasites. We do not support pediatric spay/neuter, so he has not yet been altered. Sterilization by age 6 months is mandatory, and the cost of this is included in the $250 adoption fee.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Clayne, a West Richland Golden Retriever/Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Basset Hound for sale in West Richland, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in West Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Basset Hound breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
