Kimberly von Koenig's Story...
Kimberly von Koenig is an 16-month-old loyal and loving German Shepherd. When Kimberly came to us we could see that her heart was obviously broken into a million pieces since she lost her home and her family. It’s tough getting your world torn upside down like that so she made us promise that when she gets adopted it’s going to be forever because she wants to unpack her bags once and for all. Kimberly is currently in a foster home but hasn’t settled in all the way because she seems to sense there’s no use in investing her heart into another place if it isn’t going to be her forever home. Her foster tells us she’s very calm and sweet and she listens to what her foster parents say. At the adoption events she’s one of the calmest, sweetest girls there and the volunteers all love her. She enjoys getting treats and wags her tail when people meet her. If you’re interested in meeting Kimberly, please fill out an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kimberly von Koenig, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
