Spider's Story...
Spider and Cider came to rescue when they were found outside with no mother caring for them. A nice lady gathered them up and so they were handfed for a few weeks by loving volunteers. We believe that they were born in October, 2010. Spider is the black kitten with just a touch of white on her chest. She is very playful and is especially fond of simple toys like balls and strings. She also likes cat trees and cat tunnels. Spider is an affectionate girl who loves to be held. She has been in a foster home with dogs, other cats and kids of all ages. She has the self confidence to be fine with one and all. Spider is very outgoing and friendly. She is excellent with the litterbox.

Spider is spayed, up to date on all shots and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spider, a House Springs Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in House Springs, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in House Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in House Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a House Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in House Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
