2-11-032 Hunter – male, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, altered, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-), ~3YR, Lab/

Hunter isn’t really a hunter at all but the strong name reflects his handsome and rugged looks, he’d rather be hanging relaxing with the family. He loves to get outside to play and interact with his family or other dogs. He is active but not hyper and needs a good daily walk to be content and more relaxed in the house. He is a very nice boy getting along well with other dogs, cats and respectful children. He is crate trained and house trained and would likely be fine given free roam of his new home once used to the new routine. Hunter seems a little unsure about everything going on around him so it takes him a few minutes to really warm up in a new place, he isn’t stand offish or nervous, it’s hard to describe, it’s like he doesn’t know what to do in the new house with the new stuff and routines, he is still friendly and inquisitive about new people and new animals. Hunter would be prefect as a second dog or on his own, another dog would help bring his confidence up a little around the home. He is friendly, loyal and attentive; he’s a wonderful family companion. With a little training this guy is sure to be a very obedient and responsive family companion. Hunter prefers a house with a yard.

What do we want in an adopter for Hunter? Fun, active people with a house and fenced yard.
