My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGIE or IDG-a-BOO as we like to call him has improved by leaps and bounds since his arrival. He is about 3-5 yrs old. He was terrified of everyone and everything when he first arrived, I couldn't even touch him, he would "snip" & "snap" at everyone out of fear. He was rescued from a high kill animal control facility 1hr before he was to be put to sleep. He has learned now to love and trust people that won't hurt him. He now lets others hold him and walk him. He is very playful with the other dogs, loves to roll over and give you his belly to rub. He is very comical, there are moments that I just find my self smiling just because exists. He was highly traumatized when her first arrived. He was fearful of everyone & everything. After working with him here at the rescue, his now ready for his FURever home. He loves to wrestle and play with stuffed toys. He is protective of his food and toys when it comes to other dogs, but he listens and takes correction well. He is a bit of a wiggly worm and bubbles over with personality. He is between 3-5 yrs. old. I require vet references and a home visit. I am an indoor dog with outdoor privileges. All of our dogs are house & crate trained. Homes with fenced in yards are preferred. All our pets are spayed/neutered, and up to date on their shots prior to adoption. Adoption fee of $175-$450 depending on adopter's location this includes transportation and goes towards the cost of care for this pet and future animals we rescue.
