My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dakota our latest lucky addition. He is about 1 to 2 years old. Dakota is handsome and laid back lab. Dakota gets along with other dogs, females or males and he is currently hanging out with Mr Thurman in boarding. Dakota is also HW+ but he will soon undergo treatment and he will be ready for his new family in a couple of weeks. Dakota is our luck dog, as he was saved out of a kill shelter only one day before the shelter director decided to "clean house" and killed 77 dogs. Dakota is now ready to start a new life where chances of things like this do not exist.

UPDATE FROM FOSTER PARENTS: Dakota has been a great foster. He gets along well with our two dogs and is a joy to come home to. He has lots of puppy left in him and a lot of growing to do as well. He’s learning the nuances of playing fetch, and above all he really enjoys laying in my lap!

UPDATE FROM ADOPTION: He is very laid back for his age and he is a true gentle soul. He is in love with foster dad, staying right by his side at adoption, occasionally looking for reassurance right in between his leg.
