Princess and Precious's Story...
We are sisters but do not need to be adopted together but it would be nice if you have a big yard and no other pets. We are cute and fluffly and playful. We love to sleep, play, sleep, eat, sleep, run....you get the picture...we are just plain fun to be around. We were found in someone's yard and they weren't taking very good care of us so we had to be rescued by FERAL FELINE RETREAT. But we sure are glad cuz now we have a chance to be adopted by a nice family like you. You can see us at PetSmart at Shepherd and Alabama between 11-4 on Sat and Sun or call 281.753.0136 for an appt. Thnx and woof..woof!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Princess and Precious, a Houston Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
