Porky's Story...
Come meet Porky at our meet and greet event on Wednesday 2/23/11 at Pet Supplies Plus in Medford from 6:30 -8.

Porky is a 7 week old puppy that is absolutely adorable! We know that Porky's mom was a Shar Pei but we arn't sure where he came from with his longer coat. We think that the litter may have been mixed with retriever. Whatever little Porky is mixed with he is absolutely adorable and lovable!

Like all puppies Porky will need a home that understands the importance of training and socialization to ensure he will grow into a well rounded adult dog.

All of our puppies available for adoption are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and on heartworm preventative,

Porky will be available for adoption on 2/21/11, we are accepting and reviewing applications at this time.

The adoption donation for Porky is $400.

If you are interested in finding out more about Porky, please fill out an application on our website. Porky is being fostered in Medford.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Porky, a Worcester Chow Chow puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in Worcester, or seeking a Chow Chow puppy from a breeder in Worcester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Worcester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Worcester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Worcester paves the way for another one to be saved.
