Mickey's Story...
Mickey is about 2 yrs. old and on the larger size for a Pomeranian, but such a lover boy. He was found as a stray and was never claimed by his owner at the shelter. He is great with other dogs and just a happy boy that is content to get attention from anyone he meets. He thinks he is a couch potato and will follow you around the house, but he’s also content to go lay down on his doggy bed. He loves to play with you with toys. Mickey appears to be housetrained and will go to the door and whine to go out to go potty. We think that he may have been abused because he does not take well at times to being told no, or when he thinks he is in trouble he will growl and get defensive. His foster is working on positive reinforcement when he is good and ignoring his defensiveness and he is catching on and doing better, but Mickey will need a home that can continue to work on this. Because of this we recommend he be in a home with no younger children. Outside he loves to explore and check out new things and loves to go on walks and meet new dogs. Can you give this sweet boy a forever home? His adoption fee is $200 and includes his neuter, shots, worming and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mickey, a Seattle Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
