Hi, my name is Kodi, I am 9 years old and I am looking for a new best friend. A handsome, mature guy like my self who has lots of time to hang out would be super. We could go for walks, watch the tube (I love watching any sport), rent a movie, take a nap; you know, just hang in the “man cave”. I am easy going; I like other dogs like me, I am not too sure what cats are for but they’re cool; they run funny and smell funny but that’s probably because they eat fish. Sunbathing is cool too. At night I am a great bed warmer; I don’t snore, wiggle or toss about. So if you have an outside area for a guy’s bathroom, need a buddy to hang out with and want a “shot-gun” when you travel I am your man. Call my foster mom (I call her my agent) she will give you an audition.

We are always willing to consider placing a dog out of state, but applicants are asked to apply to and work with us through their local IGCA Representative

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kodi - OC, a Costa Mesa Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Italian Greyhound for sale in Costa Mesa, or seeking a Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Costa Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Costa Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Costa Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Costa Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
