Dodger's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dodger's Story...
They call me Dodger because I dodged a bad day at a rural shelter! My foster parents fell in love with me and didn’t want anything to happen to me except find a great home. I’m about four months old, getting housetrained, working with my foster siblings to become the ultimate companion to someone. I am a little guy right now weighing in at around 5 pounds and a bundle of energy.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dodger, a Castro Valley Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Castro Valley, or seeking a Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) puppy from a breeder in Castro Valley.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Castro Valley already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Castro Valley breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Dachshund/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Castro Valley paves the way for another one to be saved.
