My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there- my name is BUDDY! I'm a lovable gray/white short hair neutered male. I am approx. 5 years young and full of love and affection. I am neutered, up to date on shots, tested negative for both FIV and FeLV, treated for the prevention of ear mites, fleas and worms, front declawed and of course housetrained/litterbox trained. I love the indoor life! I'm a calm feline- I like to snuggle and to be petted. I'm very loving and sweet- oh, did I mention adorable too? I like it when my foster parent dangles a string for me to chase- it's so fun! In my foster home I enjoy an occassional treat of wet/canned food- and on a regular basis I eat Purina Cat Chow dry food (blue bag) or Iams Dry food (chicken flavor, orange bag). I use a large, uncovered litter box with Tidy Cat Scoop litter and I am very neat and tidy! I'm an easy going feline. I do prefer a home with no small children as I do not like to be chased or have my tailed pulled- it scares me. But I do get along well with all people who are kind and gentle to me and with other cats and dogs.

To tell you a bit about my past- I lived with someone who was breeding me and other cats to make money. The conditions were awful and we were very scared and hungry. When this person hit hard times and foreclosed on their home- they left us behind- inside the house- with no food or water. It was scary. But I am so lucky to have been rescued by A4A Rescue! Now I am happy, healthy and just looking for a great home to call my very own furr-ever! I may take a little bit of time to warm up- but with encouraging petting, lots of love and a kind home- I will warm up pretty quickly and I promise I will love you forever. I sure can't wait to meet you- I have lots of love to share!
