Isabella's Story...
Isabella is a sweet chihuahua mix at around 3-4 years of age. Somehow this cute little girl found herself at the pound and caught a cold! She was going to be put down but we couldn't let that happen to this little girl. She came into foster care for treatment and is doing great. She adores her people and is a total lap dog if you let her. She is crate trained and working on her housebreaking. She is doing really well but will need continued encouragement in her new home. She loves to play with other dogs and doesn't care about cats. She hasn't yet met children but we think she'll be okay with older children. Please start on an application at www.savingonelife.org if you are interested in adopting her!

$150 adoption donation includes: spay, SNAP test (heartworm/lyme disease/tick fever), heartguard started, vaccinations, license for a year, microchip and collar & leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Isabella, a Chandler Chihuahua/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Pug for sale in Chandler, or seeking a Chihuahua/Pug dog from a breeder in Chandler.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chandler already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chandler breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Pug breeders who help with Chihuahua/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chandler paves the way for another one to be saved.
