Nellie's Story...
My name is Nellie and I am 8 1/2 yrs old. I am really sad right now because my owner gave me and my friend, Zeke, us up and we are not sure why. I am very sweet and really love people. I am housebroken but at times if I don't get let out I have to go and I will go in the house. But if I have someone to work with me I know I will get it. It would be great if Zeke and I could go to a new home together but I guess that is not a deal breaker. We are both inside dogs, so please don't think about trying to hunt us. We just want to give you love and kisses.

I sure hope that someone out there will give us a chance at a new loving home. Please call Kathy Diehl at 570-394-8227 if you are interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nellie, a Bloomsburg Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Beagle dog from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle breeders who help with Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
