marion's Story...
My name is Marion! I am a Husky/Aussie mix born in August of 2009. Don’t I have the prettiest blue eyes that you have ever seen? I am a great dog who gets along with other dogs and children. I can be tested with cats on request. I am leash trained and I love going for walks in the woods. I like to play with toys, but I prefer soft toys to hard tennis balls or sticks. I was picked up by animal control as a stray, and nobody came to claim me. I must have had someone who loved me at some point, though, because I am so very sweet. I am spayed and current on all of my shots. my adoption fee is 350.For more info or an application please email or call 828 433 1115 and ask for Teddi. Please be sure to read our shelters info page to better understand our adoption process.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

marion, a Manassas Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Manassas, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Manassas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Manassas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Manassas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Manassas paves the way for another one to be saved.
