Oliver: Declawed's Story...
Oliver is a big fella! He is about 2 years old and weighs over 15#. He lost his home when a new baby was born to his family. :~( He is now in foster care and acclimating to his new feline friends. He'll do fine in a home with cats. He's not quite so sure he likes dogs. (Who can blame him, since he has no claws?) Requested donation for this beautiful, fully vetted, up to date, neutered, and declawed cat is $125. Transport is available to NY, CT, NH.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Oliver: Declawed, a Farmington British Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a British Shorthair for sale in Farmington, or seeking a British Shorthair cat from a breeder in Farmington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Farmington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Farmington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even British Shorthair breeders who help with British Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Farmington paves the way for another one to be saved.
