My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Big Fred. Freddy is an extremely attractive lab boy who weighs about 80lbs. He is approximately 2 years old and is nothing but a big teddy bear loving boy. Freddy came from a very high kill shelter and seeing that he is a big black dog, his time was very limited. Now he is safe and on his road to a brand new life. He could not be more deserving. Freddy is a medium energy boy who will need to brush up on his obedience skills. He is smart, eager to learn and very treat motivated. Freddy loves to chase the Kong ball, chew on compressed rawhides and nylabones, is crate trained and working on house manners. He is very strong and will need a firm handler (or training aid) to help him along with his leash training and learning the social skills of a good lab boy. Freddy does not seem to be interested in the cats, but when mean old Ollie kitty hissed at him, he responded questionably, so kitty beware. He is also a dominant boy and will do best as a one dog family. He loves the human attention and is very lovable and gets so excited to see his foster family. He takes treats nicely and will make a wonderful family member for a family with older children or for a single person. Freddy is up to date on all vaccinations and neutered. He is micro-chipped, and kept on flea and tick prevention. If you would like to adopt this wonderful boy, please fill out an online application and request him on the notes section.
