My name is Chulu!

Chow Chow Dog for adoption in New York, New York - Chulu

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Chulu's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and not good with cats.

Chulu's Story...
Chulu is a three-year old Chow Chow who was apparently abandoned on the streets after suffering a severe injury that resulted in his tail having to be amputated.

For the past several weeks, Chulu has been boarded and medically cared for at our vet.

But, we need to find either a foster or adoptive home as soon as possible. The vet needs his cages for sick animals.

Chulu is now healthy, neutered and up to date on shots.

Behavior wise, Chulu is a typical Chow Chow. Generally easy to walk and handle, but somewhat aloof around people he doesn't know. Very housebroken. Mellow and laid back.

If you have knowledge and experience with Chows and can possibly help Chulu out by offering a foster or adoptive home, please CALL us (not email.). (212) 427-8273. We are sure that Chulu will turn out to be a very devoted and loyal dog to anyone willing to give him a chance. Please call us (212) 427-8273.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chulu, a New York Chow Chow dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chow Chow for sale in New York, or seeking a Chow Chow dog from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chow Chow breeders who help with Chow Chow rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
